Wrong way round....motorcycle charity fund raising event

In October of this year (2009) Graham Merrick and will be taking part in Enduro Africa an event supporting a number of charities.
Postponed until 2010 due to insufficient sponsorship
Enduro Africa is run by Global Enduro and the aim of the event is to provide transport in the form of a motorcycle which enables medical personnel to reach outlying areas and provide urgent medical care and aid to otherwise unreachable regions.
Enduro Africa is an event supporting four main charities:
UNICEF, Nelson Mandela’s Children’s Fund, Sentebale and Touch Africa.

In order for Graham to take part in this amazing charitable event he needs to raise £5,000. He will travel to South Africa on 2nd October and personally ride the donated motorcycle for eight days though rough and rugged terrain along South Africa’s “Eastern Wild Coast”. The majority of the riding will be off road, approximately 1000 kilometres. Even though he has been riding off road since he was 13 this will test him to the limit!
To raise funds Graham will be riding from John O'Groats to Cape Cornwall with a rather unusual passenger who should certainly catch everyone's attention!
Setting off from John O'Groats on Tuesday 11th August 2009 10:00am and arriving at Cape Cornwall Golf & Country Club on Saturday 15th August. To learn more go to Graham's website here: http://www.wrongwayround.me.uk
They (he will be travelling with his friend Ian Underwood aka COGS) are encouraging any bikers or bike clubs in any of the areas they will be travelling through to come and join them on sections of their journey. The more the merrier!
