What do you do when you believe something is missing from your favourite navigational device and it doesn’t look like the manufacturer will fix it in the near future? If you can, you do it yourself!
Queue Tyre which stands for ‘Trace Your Route Everywhere’ for Tom Tom (TomTom Rider) and it’s where TomTom and Google meet…
You could use the TomTom HOME software but the possibilities of this application to plot a route are not really that great.

Make a start by placing your waypoints on the map, just by clicking on the right locations, anywhere you like, to plot a beautiful trip.
Have your route calculated to watch a preview of your trip. You can even 'ride' (or 'drive') your trip step by step, to see how it will be in the real world!
Satisfied? Save your itinerary onto your TomTom device and enjoy your trip!
Of course you can open and edit all itinerary files that are created by you or by other people. It is even possible to import lots of other file formats (like files from Garmin devices, etc.).
Tyre can work with POI files (Points of Interest) too!

Install POI files from Internet and keep them updated!
Publish your own POI files and share them with other people!
